Hey all,
I am looking for a ticket supplier, as i am trying to book 4 x tickets for morning/afternoon showings of Disney on Ice Princess Wishes on either a Saturday or Sunday at either Sheffield or Nottingham.
I have gone through the venues themselves and also ticketmaster, but neither have the tickets i want (front row!!!)
Somebody has bought these tickets and are probably looking to make a profit ie there are a set on Ebay for £225 +£10 p&p, even though the face value is £150 (i offered £170, but that was rejected, robbing gits!!)
Anyway, anyone know of any decent suppliers?

Why is it that because someone wishes to sell a ticket above face value then that's robbing? I don't get it.
If I bought a Ferrari for £10,000 but want £20,000 (which I could sell it) then why should it not be sold at market prevailing prices if that's what the market asks. Am I missing something here?0 -
because some people buy the tickets JUST so they can sell them at a higher price. That to me is wrong, but has been going on for years unfortunately.0

It may be wrong to many people but I don't see a problem with it provided its risk controlled (guaranteed delivery or money returned - There are sites that do this) and people understand that not everyone can obtain best seats to an event for face value. Or they are time-poor and rely on others to provide these goods.
Information asymmetry will always mean some people will have more information and act quicker to obtain items above others.
I buy shares just so I can sell them at a higher price. Its like this is socially acceptable, but the other being a bit clandestine and dodgy isn't.0 -
i'm not here to discuss whether it is morally correct; it isn't. Now, do you have any of the afore mentioned tickets for sale or not?0

prob try tickeline and gigantic. They may have some. Or better still call the box office, most people don't use this as its an old fashion way of purchasing0
