Can I add a person on flight only to a booked package holiday?

I am sure you will know of someone who has experiened this.
Basically I have booked 2 adults into a package holiday to Sidari, Corfu in June for 2 weeks. The accomodation is for 4 people max (paid no supplements for the under occupancy). I have 1 more adult who wishes to be added for 1 week only. I spoke to tour operator and they said it would be complicated to change it. We have checked availability of the flight and it is still available for flight only for £165. Should we run the risk of booking flight only? Will the 3rd adult still be able to stay in the accomodation (as there is spare room)? What is the best way to deal with this. PLEASE HELP AS THE 3RD PERSON REALLY DESPERATELY WANTS TO GO BUT CAN ONLY GO FOR 1 WEEK ONLY.

im sure it wouldnt be a problem if they were a guest staying with you for a week...i would go for it and book the flight but you didnt mention what you would do for transfers for the extra person(assuming its included in the package holiday you paid for) you would have to decline the free transfer and make your own journey there together by taxi, bus etc to the accomodation....hth0

depends on how many rooms are in accomodation...if it has lots of apartments and you are careful ( number of beds used etc ) you should be ok....loose lips though !!!!!!!!0

we did this on a trip to Florida last year. My daughter's friend wanted to come with us after we had booked with Virgin as a package holiday. I was able to get her on the flight and just pay for the flight (also added her to our insurance) and she was allowed to stay in a room which was for 4 but only had 3 people in for no extra cost. I would certainly do it again, it really was not a problem.0

depends on the place you're staying some places allow guests and some don't. If it's apartments then you're usually ok but hotels have more of a policy on letting people in who officially staying there.
I've had problems getting somebody in for a night never mind a week.0 -
We are still in SC aprtments in sidari in corfu. I was hoping to book flight only and then the 3rd person could get a taxi there. the aprtment itself is for 4 people so beds isn't a problem, its just the fact that should we allow the guest officially or unofficially. The last thing we want is for the guest to flight out there and have nowhere to stay!! Should we make it clear to the tour operator and accomodation receptionstaff or not?0
