Word gone wrong HELP

Hi dont know what I have done but for some reason all my Word documents and any new ones I try to read/write have got a strange symbol bit like a back to front P and dots between all the words - can anyone help me get rid of it please

thanks I now know what it is but wheres the button - keyboard or word ?? I cant see that symbol on my keyboard and does that get rid of the dots as well

It's on the toolbar in Word (on the formatting toolbar I think?). Yes it will get rid of the dots too.
Edit: it's on the 'paragraph' toolbar in Word 2007, not sure where it is on earlier versions.0 -
Finally found it thanks both of you - I have Word 2000 so took some time to figure it out and god only knows how I managed to press t in the first place
