Impossible request! Portuguese speaker?

I realise the chances of anyone being able to help me are very slim but I feel it's worth a try - I have previously received very good advice on this site.

Here goes - I'm trying to book accommodation in Amarante, Portugal. I have had recommended Casa Ze da Calcada, Rua 31 Janeiro 83, telephone 00 351 255 422 023. e -mail is zedacalcada@sapo.pt However, I cannot get through on the phone and e-mail message got bounced back. I did send a postal letter last week but so far have heard nothing. I tried to check their number on Portugal's equivalent of Yellow Pages but the Portuguese proved too much for me!

Does anyone know if they are still in business?

I'm almost too embarrassed to ask but I wonder if any kind soul (who can manage the Portuguese) could check the contact number on yellow pages to see if they are still operating.

Failing all this, anyone recommend any where else to say.

i they are still in business from what i can make out. i only speak spanish -so i tried my best with the portuguese! you also have the correct contact info.

Sorry-looks as if they are different places. This website has slow loading flash- [why do they do it?] but has 30 rooms
