Hello, can anyone tell me please do the shows in London run on news years eve?. I was thinking of booking a night or two in London for New year would like to see a show.

Hi amanada,

Some shows do run on new years eve, some do afternoon matinee only on december 31st but other shows in the week between christmas and new year. What show did you want to see by the way?

If you let me know I could have a look on the internet to see if the shows christmas listing is up yet.

I was looking at Grease or mamma mia or maybe Dirty Dancing. just looking for a nice break for the new year.

Hi amanada,

I have just checked the offical websites of grease, mama mia and dirty dancing and I have found:

Grease are doing 2 performances on 30th december and new years eve at 3pm and 7.30pm, on new years day at 7.30pm.

Mama mia are only doing a 3pm matinee on new years eve, but are doing 2 shows on new years day at 5pm and 8.30pm

Dirty Dancing is doing 2 shows on the 30th december and new years day at 3pm and 7.30pm but only a matinee on new years eve at 3pm.

Such a good idea - my mum and sister and I did this a few years back, and it was so much fun! Don't forget that it's free tube use on NYE as well in London, so park outside the Congestion Charging and travel for free too. Double the bargain!
