Building Society have changed PPI proveder

I hope someone can help me. I have been informed today that my Building Society have changed the provider of the payment protection insurance. My husband is unemployed and now it looks as though instead of thinking our insurance cover will last until May 2010, it will in fact finish in September as I will have a new policy with another company from 1 october and their terms clearly state that at the start of the poicy you have to have been in full time employment for at least 6 months to make a claim.

No-one at the building society knows anything about what is going on and neither it seems do either of the insurance companies concerned. Its just me Joe Public idiot thats paid the premiums all these years that is going to loose out.

    Who is the BS?

Keep on with the questioning though as this will cost you dearly if they stop the cover and it is not your fault they are switching provider.

How about writing to The Times newspaper money section or something?
