Pointing brickwork

I live in a Victorian end terrace and we're going to get some quotes for pointing the brickwork at the end of the house (up to the roof apex as this has been done by previous owners) and round the sides.The front has already been done too.
We live in the North East,Newcasle area and wonder what we should accept as a good price(roughly).
Anyone got any ideas?.
I realise it may be a daft question as nowhere in the country is the same but I'd appreciate knowing what others paid to get some ideas.
