Kiddicare "Price Match Policy"

Hiya all

I emailed Kiddicare re a cheaper price @ Tesco to see if they would honor their 15% price match.

They sent me the following email..

"Thank you for requesting a price match. However after finding the product on the site you specified we found that we already match or better this price. This could be because the product is out of stock, the same price or our delivery is cheaper, making the total product price equal to or less than the web site you have provided."

Now I dont know if I should give the product name on here or not, but in Tesco they are 2 for £5 instore & online. At kiddicare they are £3.99 each + delivery charge.

Now how is Kiddicare's price cheaper??

Also... when I emailed them to inititially ask for the price match, all the items included in the Tesco offer were instock @ Kiddicare... now they are all miraculously out of stock!!

Oh it makes me so mad!

I feel better for that thank you for reading :)

I'd email them again (stating details of your calculations) and ask them to clarify why they are not price matching.

Sounds like they have just churned out a bog standard "one size fits all" email which is far from helpful.

Are they in stock at Tesco? If so, why not just buy them from there?

    Just what I was thinking...
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

I presume you are buying mail order and not from Kiddicare's shop , if so then you need to add on the delivery charge for a true comparason ?

And are you buying 2 of the item or 1 ?

Maybe a link to the item would help

i will be buying 2 of them from Tesco but Kiddicare match it plus take another 15% off which works out cheaper than Tesco.

    The item is this..

    Tommee Tippee Explora Beaker

    Same product @ Tesco
