Advice from a friendly P.O worker please.

Hi.
Some advice please.
Through a catalogue of errors, i bought an item from E-bay which was sent to my old address which is an empty house. I contacted my local sorting office who said they have had the parcel but as they could nt deliver it has been sent back to seller. I then contacted seller who says she did nt put return address on parcel. SO my question is where will my parcel of been sent to ? and can i get it back ?
thank you Sally

I'm not sure where your parcel will be- by the sounds of it, probably in Parcel Heaven. I don't know what rights you have in this kind of case, as it was presumably your error that it was sent to the wrong address in the first place.

    its gone to Belfast
the only office in RM who can legally open mail
unless the seller put an invoice or the like in the package then theres little chance you/they will get the item.
