I'm well aware this could happen with ebay, newspapers etc, i just put it because in this instance it was gumtree & my mind pulled a blank
Just thought I'd share the link as everyones keeps warning about this sort of thing (and for good reason) and it just shows some of the dangers.. 0 -
Pretty much every week there is a thread on Pistonheads about somebody getting done over when selling a car - gumtree, loot, ebay, autotrader, local free ads, it doesn't matter - just a bunch of chavs with attitude taking advantage.
And it's not just cars either - any high value, desireable item can attract the wrong sort.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0
