RLD Electronics - Anyone else had these problems?

I made an On Line purchase in June and used Pay Pal. I had no further communication from the firm and did not receive the goods.
Pay Pal dispute resolution found in my favour but could not recover my money; Consumer Direct were helpful, but the letters I wrote generated no response - even registered letters were returned by the Royal Mail.
I have to decide if a "Small Claim" is worth the bother/cost I think it very unlikely they will be found or forced to pay. The most annoying thing about this is that for about two months I had strong suspicions that this was a con but the web site was still trading.
If anyone else has shared this problem or found a solution I would like to hear.
