Try cleaning up your credit files a month or so after discharge

who knows? you "might be" lucky & manage a small ammount then again while the BR sits on file for 6yrs it'll be difficult....BUT things like mobile phones etc every little will help improve things :D

Just a thought......were they definatley checking for a cashminder account? when she said its not the bankruptcy thats stopping....have you looked at your credit files to see if things are as they should be..no fraud markers ID theft etc? are you on the electoral role? seems strange they refused you..

Was just about to ask that same thing phil. Great minds:rotfl:

You'll probably struggle to be honest with a contract as such....a fair few people have managed to get a "rolling" 30 day contract without handset (use your own etc) with t-mobile and Three UK some even lucky enough after a few months of good marks have been upgraded to a grown up contract :D

I'd do the cleanup suggested after your discharge....not much point now in trying to apply for a mobile most companies will be happier to see a discharge letter first after BR
