Hi
I have had a quick look through old threads but can not find one that matches my question.
I have residents parking but on Monday night my husband parked the car & the back wheels were in the bay next to the one we parked in.
So although we have a current permit I now have a £80 fine (£40 if paid in 14 days)
Will I be successful if I appeal this & what grounds do I use?

Was this on private land or council controlled? If so a photo of the pcn would be of help.Host on tiny pic and follow the instructions in the stickies at the start.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

It was council controlled land.
Today is my 14 day deadline :-(0 -
HTH - 'i' before 'e', except after 'c'
[there's slightly more to it than just that, but that should suffice for most of your needs]0 -
The experts need both sides and pics of offence would help. Doubt you'll get an answer in time as there's been nearly 2 weeks wasted.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Can I ask why they need both sides? The back just has writing on it explaining where to pay etc

Exactly, thats often where the loopholes are. There is strict regulation on how a pcn etc can be worded eo if it does not comply with the regs its not legal.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
