I am having problems with one of our slower machines accessing news pages on the BBC website.
The problem occurs when there is a video clip on the page – the page is not scrollable until the first frame of the video appears which can take a minute or two. Also we often get the following error message: A script in this movie is causing flash player 10 to run slowly.
This has options to continue or abort and whichever I choose it can take another couple of minutes before the page becomes scrollable.
This problem has only started occurring recently – Is there anything that can be done about it?

Try updating your browser version. Also you could install the latest version of flash. 10.0.32.180

I have just done both those. Firefox 3.5 and Flash 10. Unfortunately it made no difference.0
