Thanks for all the positive comments on my dress, I feel happier wearing it now. I must admit though, im the kind of person (being Scottish an all) to tell people the price and the great bargain I got lol. I had no idea what colour to go for in a theme etc, so since the the dress is ivory and gold beading with pearls, gold will be the theme colour. Its not the first colour id of thought of, but ive no favourite colour exactly and im growing more in love with the idea. I still havnt told anyone ive bought the dress though yet. Everyone is excited with my lil sisters wedding on 24th Sep. Im trying to keep our wedding talk to a minimum so it can be her time, then after Sep we can really go for it and get planning.

I think the Monsoon dresses are gorgeous, I didn't get one though as none of them were very flattering on me. Your one is beautiful, there is nothing wrong with a simple, classic dress.
Got married 23rd May 2009, many thanks to all on the Weddings and Anniversaries board for their help and support!

i have a monsoon dress for my wedding at the end of november, got it in the sale for £67, its gorgeous, simple and pretty.

i also had a monsoon wedding dress for my first wedding lol
  • I too have a wedding dress from Monsoon - got mine in the sales ages ago for £125 (half price!) and I love it!! Can't wait to wear it at my wedding next September.

It's not about how much you pay or where it's from, it's about how you feel in it!!!!

If I knew how to add a photo, I would :(
  • How do I find out which shops stock bridal dresses? I don't fancy ordering one online unless I can see it first. Ta!
Cos I don't shine if you don't shine.
