    I dont see why people think that they have to 'offer' something...surely just chatting amoungst friends is enough?

    That to me is the best thing-we all have to deall with 'life' everyday, sometimes it's nice to just chat and not have to worry about being funny/smart/intelligent/clever etc...it's the nicest thing about friendship-when you can enjoy the ease of conversation!
