Four hours in Prague

I am flying from Glasgow to Cyprus in April The cheapest flight (by a long way) gives me a four hour break in Prague. On the way out the break is from 4pm to 8pm and on the way back it is in the morning.

Does anyone know how far the airport is from the city centre? Is it feasible to get into the centre in that time. What would you recommend visting? It is for myself and my twelve year old daughter.

TIA

It is quite a long way I think it's 15 miles, fairly cheap by taxi or tram(?) though so you could do the main square and Charles Bridge.

No trams from the airport. Bus or taxi only.

Bus to city will cost about 20p but take 40 mins

Taxi will cost about £10 and take 15 mins.

  • Prudent, be a little careful if getting a cab from outside the airport, as they might try & rip you off. Don't pay anymore than 600Kc (£14) negotiate 1st
Oh yeah that is only one way
  • yes i agree dont pay more than 14 or 15 pounds... prague is a quality place.
