Hi hun, cool, well if mis sold I would certainly make a go at reclaiming on this.
Was it actually First plus that arranged and sold you this loan, or was it arranged by a broker?
If a broker then you write to them, otherwise First plus.
For your reasons, give them 8 weeks to respond in full, and keep at them until they resolve in your favour, or until they issue you with the final response which should include details of the financial ombudsman service (FOS), you can take your complaint to these if your not happy with the outcome.
Post by recorded delivery, as this would be your proof of posting.
Also check on this link here for further information, guidelines of reclaiming, a checklist of mis selling reasons, in case any of these reasons also occur to you.

Im in the process of complaining to Firstplus about misselling of a PPI also. I spoke to them yesterday and they have passed my complaint onto the broker. They had already sent me a letter saying they would refund £1200 however that does not take the PPI loan off or the interest on that loan. So Im going all the way with this to get it removed, get my repayments reduced and claim any interest. Good luck with yours. I will be interested to see how yours progresses.Egg April 10 £6600 Jan £4678 now £0
Santander Jan £3414 April £3338
Virgin April£2643 Aug £3155 April £7109
Barclaycard Oct £1476 April £1287
So far paid off 17% of c.c. debt:T0 -
I would check with the broker if you hear nothing in a couple of weeks time. Its always a good thing to send a covering letter as well if a broker was involved and don't forget to make a note of when 8 weeks are up since you first complained or since the complaint was actually passed on.Im in the process of complaining to Firstplus about misselling of a PPI also.
