Changing Suppliers......why bother? (another Npower rant)

I've been with Eon for around 15 years now...checked regularly on uSwitch & they are tops for me & my house.

Went to the Good Food Show in June & signed up with Npower via the National trust. Was promised £100 credit to my account for switching & i'd save money.

Pfft. Well, i phoned Npower in July to check on the tariff as i'd had a letter & the tariff in the letter was not the one i signed up for at the GFS. According to the New Customer Person, i can't have the tariff i signed up for, i have to have the economy 7 as i have an economy 7 meter.
Well....says i.....I've never been on economy 7 with Eon in the 4 years i've been in this house. Oh, she says, we'll have to see about getting the meter changed.

One month later, i'm still waiting.........and i'm still paying over the odds for my electric as i'm still on damn economy 7.

All i want is the tariff i signed up for? How hard can that be?

Think i might be back off to Eon........and better off with Eon as well.....unless anyone has any suggestions? (other than the proverbial stick of dynamite)

*in case anyone is wondering why economy 7 is such a bad deal for me, i have a disabled incontinent child so 99% of my washing is done after 7 in the morning.
