Printer not printing drawing objects

Hope someone can help.

My printer works fine for MS word docs, so long as it's just text.

However...If I've used something from the drawing toolbar e.g. a box etc, then this object doesn't print at all and all i get is any text that i've typed. (nor appears in the print preview mode.).

i thought is was my old HP printer at fault, but i've now just installed my new Dell, and it's doing exactly the same thing, which i spose, means it must be my pc at fault, not the printer.

Does anyone know if i may have inadvertantly done something to prevent these graphics being printed??


any help would be so fab, as i need to do this for work.

I've just looked at the version of Word on this PC (it's 2002 btw) and under the <Tools> menu at the top there's <Options> and then select the <Print> tab. On my version it's got a bit halfway down which says "Include with document" and I've got <Drawing objects> ticked. Is this ticked on yours? (This is just a guess btw).

Bubba...you are a complete and fabulous wonderful person. This solution worked right away (and i've been struggling with the problem for ages).
