uPVC quality difference

Hi all,
After some advice regarding uPVC sliding door/window quality. We have had quotes for new kitchen window and a lounge window replacement with a sliding patio door. As they range from 1200 to 1800 pounds it got me thinking if there is enough difference in the provided items to merit such a difference in quotes! We have used the cheapest quoting company in the past and found the work to be acceptable, so it really is just a question of material quality.
Thanks in advance!

yes and no.
Obviously you do pay more for better quality products, but most of the differance in price is down to the companies quoting. ie. overheads, discounts they get from manufacturer, work load etc.0
