Help ! - Last Minute holiday wanted
horizon
Hi
I've just managed to get some time off work sorted out, and am looking for a last minute holiday to somewhere warm :cheesy:
My wife and I have got the weeks commencing the 7th and 14th September off.
So, we can fly out from Saturday 5th onwards, and need to be back by the 19th (1 day for me to relax before going back to work, and 1 for the wife to do the washing
)
Will fly from anywhere south of Birmingham.
Will go anywhere its warm, except the parts of Turkey you get hassled (kusadasi ) Eygpt & Dominican Rep, everyone I know has come back with bad guts from there !
Anything Greek are a favourite, (went to Kefalonia last year - fabulous)The Caribbean and any other far flung places will be great, as long as we don't need any jabs.
Would like a nice hotel, near a beach, where we can lie back and relax and do nothing, and maybe a bit of exploring for me.
The wife would like to go for 10 or 11 days if possible, but more than happy with 7 days.
Will go on any board basis. AI might be a good idea if in the Euro zone.
Budget
£300 each.
Will stretch to £500 each for an AI in a far flung destination.
I've had some great holiday advice on here previously, and hope you can help again.
TIA

I've seen lots of cheap deals to Rhodes, Corfu, Zante, Crete and the like for £200 and less but all the hotels appear to be in the the club 18 -30 type resorts, Falaraki etc...
We prefer something a bit quieter, with a few bars and restaurants to pick from each evening.
Found these earlier.

This one looks a real bargain, and I'm almost tempted to book it now, as it seems to be in a quiet area, althou a family orientated hotel.

Also saw 14 night AI holiday to Kenya for £389 each, but the hotel had very bad reviews on trip advisor.
Cheers
