What is the minimum age you can have a utillity bill in your name
My Daughter moved into a flat with her then boyfriend when she was 17 he was 21
she was not allow on the tenacy agreement due to her being under 18 since they have recently split
but the electric company is coming after her for an outstanding bill
i would just like to know if she is liable for this has she was just turn 17 at the time ?
i was unaware this bill had been put in her name and due to the fact she could not be put on the agreement due to her age
any help with this please
she is a full time student with only a part-time job surely she is not responsible for this:mad::mad::mad:

The contract is unenforceable. You can't be liable for any financial contract under the age of 18. The question is did she lie about her age?0
