non paying buyer dispute

hello
if i open a 'non paying buyer' dispute, can the buyer then turn round & open an 'item not received' dispute while the npb dispute is still active & open?

I shouldnt have thought so. If he hasnt paid though have you sent the item? Either way they shouldnt both be able to be done as if you havent received payment then he cant say you havent sent the item as any normal person would wait until they have received payment until they send the item!Weight Loss - 102lb0

no i've not sent the item yet - but this buyer sounds like they could get nasty so i want to cover all options0

Assume they say that the paid by cash in the post, then it could be you lying....
However, if I was the buyer then I would respond to your NPB process and state that.
So if they don't do anything, then surely their not receipt claim would fail; in any case I don't believe it has any actual outcome. Paypal won't refund anything when nothing has been pid, etc.Toyota - 'Always a better way', avoid buying Toyota.0
