Can I claim back mortgage charges

I am looking at starting to claim back the bank charges relating to my current account, but I also have a second mortgage that I have struggled to pay over the last 4 years. I believe they charge me £40 every month for being over one month in arrears. Is it possible using the financial hardship route to claim back the bank charges for this mortgage?

Dont see why the bank should pay back something which is your fault.0

Ok I understand your point but even if I agree with you, people are currently claiming back the bank charges they have occured, and using the guides in this site to do so. Am in a difficult financial situation, due to redundany and need to use whatever means i can to stay afloat and do the best for my wife and children. But thanks for the reply!0
