Hi Guys
Just wondered if some of you could advise me in what to put as negative feedback for a seller on ebay. (Sorry for the long story)
I bought a dress off ebay from a dressmaker shop for a wedding. Paid straight away took seller two weeks to send the dress. when it arrived it wasnt the dress i had bought, wrong size, colour and style. Contacted seller and sent a polite email asking what she wanted me to do and where to send it back as obviously they got their auctions mixed up and i had received someones else dress. I sent it back as soon as she had sent me her address.
I asked her if she would refund the postage cost for sending that dress back as it was their mistake and i was out of pocket. For which she replied she would refund that postage once i left positive feedback. She eventually sent me the dress which i orignally ordered but when it came it was unwearable. There was damage to the dress, bits of wire sticking out on it, which was dangerous, the hem on the dress was coming apart, bits of lose cotton everywhere. I immediatly contacted her and told her about the dress condition and asked for a refund. They never replied back so after some time I opened a dispute. Have now won dispute but just wondering what feedback to leave. To top it off they orignally charged me £8 in postage in the first place for which when the dress did arrive it was sent in a plastic bag and cost them £2's to post. So not happy there either. This seller sells alot of bridesmaid dresses, ball gowns etc so i would hate somebody else to get such poor quality dresses. They do have good feedback which was why i bought from them in the first place but now i'm wondering if some of the feedback left was just so people could get their money back.

I always think for feedback you are using it to warn other buyers, so think what is the important bit you would want to know if you came across a similar seller.

Good God, what a nightmare. Just be honest in your feedback and tell it as it is. A narrowed-down version of what you've posted on here should suffice.0

"wrong item sent, replacement poor quality, return postage refund only offered if I left positive feedback. avoid"Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
