hi there
Just asking this question for a friend. She couldnt manage her payments to her debts therefore entered into a Trust Deed which lasts for 3 years, can you tell me if she is eligible to claim back PPI that was included in the personal loans that she had even tho these got taken into account through the trust deed.
thanks

Hi there;)
To my knowledge yes your friend can reclaim on this.
Did they add this without her knowledge, or was she forced to take this out? etcThe one and only "Dizzy Di"

hi
i think the usual, she never even knew it was there. She is concerned that because she didnt pay the complete loan, it became part of the trust deed, that she isnt entitled to it. Hope this makes sense. Being in Scotland not many people south of the border understand the trust deed set-up, im unsure if its the same as an IVA in Englandshire.

just wondering if my friend does apply to reclaim PPI on the personal loans she had, would she maybe only get what she paid before the loan was taken over in the trust deed?? Help!!0

I would imagine she would get back what she had paid or what it cost her but they may pay it off the loan balance. Not 100% though but maybe others will answer who have better knowledge.just wondering if my friend does apply to reclaim PPI on the personal loans she had, would she maybe only get what she paid before the loan was taken over in the trust deed??
