Favourites from one computer to new one

Hi i have a long list of favourites on my old computer and was wondering how and if i can transfer them to the new one.

    1) Open Windows Explorer
    2) (On the left side) click the plus sign next to 'my computer'
    3) (On the left side) click the plus sign next to 'c:'
    4) (On the left side) click the plus sign next to 'documents and settings'
    5) (On the left side) click 'favourites' (it should now be highlighted)
    6) Hold down the ctrl key and press the letter 'c'
    7) Insert an external storage device; memory pen or USB drive etc.
    8) Wait till it is detected, then (On the left side) click the external device
    9) Hold down the ctrl key and press the letter 'v' (your data is now copied to your external device)
    10) Insert the external device into your new computer
    11) Repeat steps 1-2
    12) Select the external device, and then select 'favourites'
    13) Click 'Documents and settings' on your C: drive
    14) Hold down the ctrl key and press the letter 'v'. It'll tell you that this folder exists and do you want to replace the files - select 'yes'.

    You're done. Easy huh? ;)

If you have anything of value on your computer, get a free standing hard drive and back everything up onto that.
Then when you buy a new PC everything is easy to transfer, and when your computer dies, as it will someday, you will lose nothing.
