reasonable cost for roofing dorma

hi all
we have just converted our loft including a dorma, here lies our question, we have been quoted £3200- £4100 to roof it - do these sound reasonable, the guys have done a brilliant job on all the work and the building control have passed it all so far, but we need an independent roofer to finish the job - the house is a basic 2 bed terrace so nothing spectacular and a standard size, please help, do i go high or low - and why so much difference, all i know is we have to have those little square tiles?????????
