UK courier who will collect

I have a home entertainment system that I'm selling on e-bay, it's too heavy to post with Royal Mail so I want a courier who will collect (if possible on Saturday). Can anyone point me in the right direction of where to look as I've never sent an item via courier. Thanks :)

They use parcel force but is a set price regarding on weight so just make a number up roughly as it doesnt matter if it weighs 3kg or 30kg its the same price.

I think you will have trouble getting a collection on Saturday. Most carriers are Monday to Friday with deliveries (but not collections) by some on Saturdays (at an extra charge). Some Parcel Force services are available if you take it to a PO on Saturday morning.

To weigh your parcel use bathroom scales. It is sometimes easier to weigh yourself, then yourself carrying the parcel and do the maths. Some carriers will also be interested in volumetric weight so you will need to measure length, width and height.
