Hi,
I need to decide on a floor for my garage conversion as i am planning on layin it this weekend.
The floor is raised with polestrine insulation and laid over with hardboard, skirting boards are already fitted.
I'm thinking of the following options:
wickes £6 a meter laminiate
wickes £8 a meter laminiate
parawood floor from tops tiles £15 per meter
parawood laminate from tops tiles £15 per meter
Pine tounge and groove boards - wickes £10 a meter
I dont want to spend a fortune on flooring but want something decent.
The room is going to have gym equipment in so needs to be suitable for weight etc being put on it
thanks

My husband did something similar last year but he went a little upmarket with some PVC floor tiles - though I have to say they look great and incredibly easy to keep clean (him not me!). He also bought some smashing steel cabinets from the same place. I just phoned him to find out where he got it all from, there may be something on there for you. It's worth a look at least I think Garage storage and floor tiles
Edited to add I was worried about the amount he spent but I have to say his garage looks better than my kitchen! (but this WILL be rectified!)0
