hi all! just to let you know, if your thinking of reclaiming charges from studio, do it now! they are currently reviewing their charges and i have successfully reclaimed £503 for my mum and £41 for me.

All it took was one letter requesting details of the charges (didnt send £10 fee as they didnt request it!). they sent them to me and stated in the letter they wont refund them (even though i hadnt yet mentioned a refund!)

then i sent the 1st letter to them asking for a refund and they came bk within 2 weeks stating they were sending a cheque for all charges plus 8% interest!

Give it a go!!! :j

glad to hear your sucess with studio, great news, I'm thinking of trying it myself because their fees are a joke! Do you by any chance have the address which you sent the first letter to, the one requesting the list of charges??

can you please tell me which letter you send to ask for a refund thanks.

Hi,
Studio have been by far my easiest reclaim so far....took one letter and I received an offer of the full amount after 7 days!! I sent the template letter from this site (step 2 I think as step 1 is asking for a list of charges and I already had them). I you need them to tell you how many times you have been charged then you need to send the first letter from the templates.....if you already know your charges then send the second letter 'asking for your money back'. The address I used was simply:

Studio
Preston
Lancashire
PR0 2BP

........this was the only address I could find but was also on the letter head of their letter offering me the refund so it must be right! (also the post office verified it when I sent my letter recorded delivery).

just to update you mojjo i have just recieved my list of charges ( i reqested by e-mail) didnt send the £10 as they didnt ask for it and have just e-mailed the letter (step 2) and to claim back £100 charges and they have 14 days to reply i will let you know.......... fingers crossed x

anyone thinking of reclaiming from studio just go for it! cost me nothing at all, just e-mail them the first letter asking for a list of the charges applied to your account , three weeks later it arrives then e-mail them letter 2 giving them 14 days to reply , and you can take your money back from them for a change!!!

GO FOR IT!! WHY NOT!!

changed wording on letter to say charges and cut and paste it in.
