Prescription lenses - where to buy cheap

When I've bought them before, the frame is put on my face and the positions of my eyes are measured to ensure that the lenses are centred correctly... I don't know about high index lenses esuhl but I have just had some specs reglazed by ciliairy blue and the service was fantastic it may be worth giving them a call for some advice www.ciliaryblue.com I found them to be very helpful and professional. Good luck

I have just had 2 sets of lenses updated by CiliaryBlue.
Fantastic service and more than 50% less than what Boots quoted.
I could not use their web service as my cylinder size was larger than their web parameters, so I called them and emailed my perscription for a quote.
All in all, from 1st call to last call, it took 15 minutes to get a quote and place my order.
They were shocked at Boots quotes as they told me they actually service about 80 opticians, including Boots and of course their own prices already contain a profit margin.
Each set of glasses took about a week to turn around with recorded delivery.
