Afternoon all (now where's the snoozy smiley?)

    Scratchies (£0.20)
    Quidco clicks
LSD (was bad and bought breakfast at £2!)
Ordered sage tea in bulk (managed to get enough tea to fill my empty herb jar 70 times for 1/7 of the price of buying it in jars :))

    That's about it, payday soon.

No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T

I am down in the dumps. Lesson of the day, don't call debt collection agency on a day when you are feeling off already. Blaah!!!

Anyway, need to go and get a chocolate cake incase BF manages to come here so that we can spend his belated birthday. Might be really really naughty and buy something ready made for supper as not in the mood for cooking.

At least I have done my first version of my translation. Few gaps still do fill so better do that while HC on the way.

Me and DB fancied a day out so we've been down to the Seal Sanctuary - would usually cost about £23 to get in and then at least another £15 to feed us both for the day but I know the marketing lady down there so we got in and got fed for free! Although DB did have to provide some cute looking pics for next years marketing campaign but he got to feed the seals and got his face painted (again, free!) so all is well! Plus I took OH's car therefore it didn't even cost me anything in petrol! Very pleased with myself for that little gem of a day so I'm even going to wash his car to make up for stealing it this morning :D

Was it a chicken that really really wanted to be a curry when it grew up? :rotfl:

    Hello :j

Yuck, really heavy showers today, and I got wet twice

Hugs to those who are down or have had medical procedures.

    Today I have / will:

LSD - only bought a coffee at the station this morning, which I managed to spill down my top. Luckily I was wearing something dark - sitting through a day of meetings with a coffee coloured splodge down a white shirt would not have been a good look

Checked online banking - as expected

    Seen to animals and plants

    Packed lunch to work

Just about to make a chicken pie for supper - better get on with it!!

Have a nice evening everyone :hello:

Hi Fay, and thanks. There are several guitars here in our holiday home so might pick one for a little tune.

On a positive note got from C00p 2 spaghetti carbonaras (sp?) for the price of one and a chocolate cake for a pound. Not bad.

And funny thing of today: DD (4 years) asked me: "What are you reading, Mummy?" Me: "Quantum Theory" DD: "Ooooooh, I LOVE it."

(The book is similar to For Dummies series so no - I am not quite that clever :rotfl:)
