Item signed for but not by me

Hiya

I ordered an item from ebay and the seller posted it on 19th August. I e-mailed him today to say I hadnt received it and asked for the tracking number. He provided it and it says it was delivered on 21st August and there is a signature.

I was at home all Friday and the postman came and went. I didnt receive the item or sign for it. I have checked with my neighbours and they havent got it.

Is there any chance I will get my money back through paypal. Its alot of money for me to lose otherwise.

You say it was signed for, but what service?

When you check the tracking number online what does it say? After a few days you should be able to see the signature yourself so take a look at that.

Unfortunately if it does track to delivery online and seller sent it to your paypal address then they will win any chargeback. However do some checks first don't just take the sellers word that is shows as delivered.
