I'm a total convert to FitFlops. I have CFS/ME and a little walking is my only exercise & wanted something that might help. I couldn't decide between the suede Oasis or Jelly Walkstar III so ended up with both & really glad I did. The Jelly Walkstar is great with sweat pants etc but the Oasis suede look great with jeans. Had them about a month or so and suddenly noticed my bum was firm!! A complete surprise as I hadn't really expected them to work so well. I just knew they were super comfy and I loved wearing them.

I now have the Gogh ones which I love and are great for this weather in socks. And for Christmas DH is buying the gorgeous Mukluk ones.

I only ever wear trainers or flip flops usually but love the FitFlop range. The new winter range is nicer than last years but I love my Gogh's and they look rather funky :)

I love my fitflops, they really help with my back pain. I tend to wear jeans anyway so you don't see much of them :)

Mukluk Boots. I quite like those. They aren't the 'prettiest' but I do like the look of them. It mentions to keep your nails short to stop the material tearing though... puts me off a little... if nails could rip them then are they going to fall apart quickly?!

It say on the picture not for external use - Is that the boot or the picture:confused:

I had wondered initially but my guess would be that it means it's the pic thats not for external use. None of the other boots in the range say it so I'd say that perhaps its just because this pic is quite new as the boots aren't out yet. They don't want people to use the pics.
I can't see that the boots couldn't be used outside. It'd make no real sense making them water resistant if they were just meant as Slippers.... and expensive slippers they'd be at that!!

  • Dunno, aren't those Ugg boots really slippers? The suede is so soft nearly every woman I see wearing them has trodden them over on one side. Most unattractive.

I love my fit flops. I've had them a couple of years and they're all I wear in the summer- I feel quite hard done by when I have to put on normal shoes or sandals to go with a dress, adn everything feels really uncomfortable compared to them. I still have a backside more like Norah Batty's than Kylie though so I don't think they really do anything fitness wise.

Very true, It really bugs me to see people walking on the sides. It makes me just think that they really cannot be walking right and overall it's going to do no good for their legs, ankles and overall posture.

Never tried ugg boots myself but had a pair that were fur lined and quite soft... but never had a problem with walking in them.

I know what you mean!! I feel like I am literally walking on the ground, even in my Skecher trainers... such a weird feeling.

DS3 was 'breaking in' his new school shoes today and said to me 'Mum when are you going to take your flip flops off and wear proper shoes again?'
