Moving provider and broadband from one provider to two separate ones

I would appreciate some advice. I have my calls and my broadband with Nildram and want to move to two separate companies (one for calls and the other for broadband). My line rental is still with BT.
Should I move the calls first? I am thinking about Primus Max.
I know I need the MAC code to move the broadband, but I don't want anything to fall through the cracks!

BT. One year anytime call contract £4.95 a month and it includes 0845/0870,which primus does not.0 -
I can see I've been guilty of making assumptions without fully checking out all the options, and you are right - a better deal all round.
You have saved me money already - thanks!0 -
For those interested in this item, it was a no-brainer in the end.
I ran with OldGreyFox's recommendation, and have moved my phone to the BT anytime mobile call package at £4.95 a month. I will probably stick with the ISP at the moment as my exchange is not up to full speed, and the best packages are not available.
I got into this saga because my Orchid box failed, and the various deals I had set up were getting progressively less competitive.0
