I only pay £15 per month on my current Simplicity contract and don't get a free upgrade.
My handset is getting old and crappy. Could I buy an O2 pay as you go phone and put my current SIM in it? Or would it not work?

Should work fine, I've done that before with my T-Mobile phone; I get a friends and family discount, so they wanted me to buy a handset as my monthly spend is so low.
I doubt you'll have any problems0 -
