Flower you know what they say about working with Children and Animals. You could try it though. Worse case is you have to get the broom out to poke the cat to wake OH.

If I have to wake my OH i usually do it very gently then open the bedroom curtains about 5 minutes after that way she cannot go back to sleep (even though she tries)

NIM has gone to Tesco on his way to the cinema to get £5 of pick n mix, pringles, and diet coke to get us through the film. I have worked out my Nandos will have over 1100 cals in it, and thats just a chicken breast burger, and some chips and garlic bread, but I don't care for today, too happy. Add in the pringles and I'm about 600 cals over for the day, which is still below my cal burn by a smidge, so not going to worry over one day.

Lol I was very impressed how much more rock you get for your money online. The one in the shop was white gold not platinum and a 0.23 carat diamond, and was only a little bit less.

No idea about the budget - its really scaring me. Technically we're going to need to do so much stuff twice, once here and once there, we only want something really casual but urgh, don't know, its too soon to tell. At the moment just the rings and the honeymoon I want are about 4k.... I have expensive tastes

But if you have the type of honeymoon you were talking about earlier it would be so so so nice!!

Well went to get the cat to wake OH up and found her already asleep next to him! Woke him myself and he told me to go away - charming  but i can hear movement so i think hes getting up. Should go and make him some dinner to put him in a better mood i guess.

  • Good choice going with platinum, it won't lose its colour. white gold goes yellow within a few months and looks pants.

I am sure if you head over to the marriages board they will give you tons of ideas on how to have your dream wedding and honeymoon on the budget you both work out that you can afford. Not that you won't have already done that already....!

  • I am going on holiday this weekend and I would love to be proposed to, but as it has never happened up to now I don't see why this holiday would be any different lol. I am just going through that jealous phase at the moment!
