That sounds like you have a field or form where you are trying to type too much information. ie you have more character than the string buffer will accept.
Thanks Poolie, yeah I worked it out myself in the meantime by starting afresh on a new form, now why is it that on the two previous occasions where I've contacted the 'help'desk they weren't able to help me?! Grrrr, so sick of incompetent people! So I'm now drafting an email to someone very important, pointing out the ineptitude of the helpdesk people, highlighting the problem with their programme and suggesting the solutionHarrumph.
This is not the sort of thing I want to be dealing with on a Friday morning!!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Harrumph.
This may sound like I'm the one being the idiot here, trying to put too much information in one place, but it's not that - we're SUPPOSED to be putting all this information in one place so the buffer should be bigger...
Not that anyone's interested! Sorry, bee in my bonnet!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
If the money has not gone into day then it will be Monday before you pay shows it is clearing as there will not be a direct credit file loaded by the bank till tonight dated for Monday.
Please ring my Father up and tell him that! Seriously Poolie, is there anything you don't know? Dinah should bottle your knowledge up and sell it if she's after making extra money for her Wedding
Birdie - I looked for Christmas jobs at the Boots in my town but they've already filled all the positions. Still, I have 12days full time coming up. If I don't get paid for that I'll be going on strike I tell ye!0 -

Might be an idea to take the bonnet off so the bee can get out before it gets angry and stings you!
ETA - Sorry I wasn't here when you shouted the first time was busy getting settled on sofa and grabbing breakfast!0 -

Why do I need Dinah for that? I could do it myself.

Aww Cinny hope you feel better soon.
Tink - to get more rating soyu need to go and rate loads of other reviews. I now have about 80 people rate each one , it does take time rating everyone back but does help. There is a tab where you can see the last 50 people who rated your reviews, i use this to rate people back.0 -
oooh wendz where do I find the last 50 people? I can only see the last 5!!0

Go to my account at the top of the page and then click on community activity and then click on who rated my reviews. To get more people to rate you I just go through other peoples reviews and click on random people and rate a review.0

Hi I'm back and no longer spouting computer related vitriol! Thanks for your help Poolie - even though I'd sort of resolved the problem I didn't know the whys and wherefores, so I've used your explanation in my angry-disguised-as-trying-to-be-helpful email!
Tink, if you want to get your older reviews rated it might help to rate a few of each person's reviews, then they have to repay say 3 rates and need to click on more than just the last one you wrote.
I'm impressed with you doing lacrosse - isn't it a bit brutal?
Cinny, hope it is just a 24 hour bug, it sucks getting ill just in time for the weekend! Also rubbish about your pay, but surely you can take the £20 straight out on Monday to repay the pressie fund?
Wendz when your fella does ask I think you need to think long and hard about your answer, maybe for a few days, just to keep him on his toes!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
