Faulty Samsung LCD TV

Hi all,
My Samsung LCD TV warranty expired in July 2009 and this weekend I’ve noticed a vertical line of dead pixels appear down the right hand side on the panel. The TV has already been repaired twice with the main board replaced on each occasion.
I contacted Samsung this morning, they told me the TV wouldn’t be repaired because it was out of warranty and even with the parts previously replaced that doesn’t reset your warranty, they just give you 90days on the new parts. They’ve told me to contact a service centre in Manchester to get an engineer out.
Is there anything I can do to make Samsung investigate my TV?
Thanks,
Lee

You should contact place you bought it from (sale of Goods act)but before you do you need a independent report which will cost to prove the tv had an inherent fault. The Tv may if proven get repaired/replaced or part refund assuming the shop/Samsung oblige otherwise you have to go to Small Claims Court
