Recommend me a monitor

Ideally 19+" but small bezel so it sits low down on the desk.

Anyone know of one?

    Dell make good monitors

I have a Dell 24" full HD this one looks good. I paid £400 for mine less than a year ago, ultra sharp monitors are great for reading text

Very nice and at only 15.8" it fits where I need it to go.

Its slightly too high spec for me needs and the price is a bit more then I was looking to spend, but I wont rule it out, thank you.

You can get smaller ones but Dells are really good worth paying extra certainly better than my 19" viewsonic I got a couple of years back

I need it to sit low as my desk is under the stairs, the lower the screen the further back it will sit under the slope of the stairs.

In that case, it's not the bezel you have to worry about - it's the stand. Have you considered getting a separate mount for your display?

Yes, but again, limited space. I have a custom desk to fill the space.

Anything that is lower than 16" would be fine, less better.

Samsung did so a screen that basically had not stand, but I can find one for sale

Yes, luckily I am not. This desk has been like this for 2.5 years. My last 22" Acer screen was fine in here, but it went pop.

The advantage of the Sammy I looked at was I would have been able to stand that on top of something to get it to the best height needed but far enough back. At the moment I have a Sony 19" screen that is 18" high so is closer too me. Its not uncomfortable close, but it takes up too much of the desk space.

I get another Dell I got not so cheap Viewsonic 19" a few years back and its no comparssion compared with image quality obviously size too and price, but you get what you paid for. It depnds on what you want to do and how much usage to warrant the extra cash. You do get used to size
