Hi everyone, I am finally filling in my br forms. could someone advise me what i should put on my SOA. I get no income support, i have no job. i have been looked after by friends through some difficult times and now looking forward to starting a new life. the only bill that is paid in my name is a mobile phone(by friends). I think i need to rush my br through before the HMRC do it for me as i'm told it,s much worse if they do it.
Any help will be appreciated.

Perhaps a little more info/background might help in order for us to give the appropriate support/advice best suited to your circumstances.
Although HMRC do make people bc it is not to be taken for granted that they will. Can i ask what leads you to think they will make you bc? I was told on this site it would be likely HMRC would. I have unsecured debts of about 60,000 one being 8,000 to HMRC. I have no assets and have been living with various friends and family for a while hence the delay as i tried to organize a c/o address i could use. I hope to make a new start abroad until i get back on my feet again.0

If anything of late HMRC have looked at individual cases & suggested payment plans instead of bankruptcy as an option.....they must be feeling the pinch as well paying out bankruptcy costs :DWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

I still have no way of paying such a large debt. is it not better to go bc before starting a new life abroad? If HMRC did make me bc is it worse than me doing it?0

Hi everyone, still looking for some advice on my questions if anyone can help me please.0

I could be wrong on this one but....if you have no means to support yourself after bc,then bc will not solve your problems(as in you will still be insolvent) therefore your bc maybe refused. Just a thought and may be the reason you are not getting much response on this one.DxFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

I agree with dalip.....the judge will look at all angles & ask how on earth you'll manage if your unable to support yourself after bankruptcy without the use of crdit etcWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

I am not certain family counts as far as supporting yourself for bc reasons. Can i ask why you are not claiming JSA? or any other benefits for that matter.DxFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau
