Review of transaction help

Hi,
I recently sold some tickets on ebay and received the funds through paypal, consequently as payment had been received i sent the item special delivery to the buyer. the buyer has since left positive feedback.
i received an email from paypal last week saying that the transaction is under review as either the buyer or the buyer's bank has reversed the payment. paypal has placed a temporary hold on the funds whilst they review the matter.
i am really worried about this, as the tickets were very expensive, and now my paypal balance is negative as i had already withdrawn the funds.
how can paypal allow this to happen if the funds were deposited in my account? will i get my money for the tickets?
please help! thanks in advance, emma x

Report the matter to the Police, You have the buyers details as you posted the item to them.
Also, try contacting the ticket sales company you original tickets from. They can cancel the tickets and either issue more, or give you a refund (tell them you haven't received them yet).Never Knowingly Understood.

Just check the tracking info reads delivered. As long as you posted the tickets within 7 days of payment you will be covered under the sellers protection program.0

Contact the buyer see if they know whats going on. If they reply. I'm not sure what you would go to the police with? Phone paypal ask them what is going on and at the same time use it to remind them of there Seller protection policies As long as you followed there rules will be covered. Sometimes you need to remind them of this0

Assuming that you sent to the address supplied by paypal and the item shows as tracked online then you don't need to worry. Get back to paypal immediately, harrass them, follow everything up with emails to confirm what you have been told.
If you had full seller protection then you are covered against fraudulent use of card claims . You will need to keep on at them though, paypal don't know their own rules.
Also, as has been suggested put the wind up your buyer a bit as well (politely of course). Send an email, possibly even a snail mail letter explaining that there appears to be some sort of problem and asking whether they were aware of it. Make it sound like you think they may not be aware of it. Explain that as you can track delivery to their address paypal have advised you to make a police report, but of course you thought you would contact them first as it is obviously a mistake.
I won one of these even without tracked delivery, in fact paypal refunded me twice , but I had to harrass them and the buyer over a period of about 3 weeks.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
