Virgin Media through ADSL and BT line

There seems to be an assumption on this website and elsewhere that Virgin Media broadband and phone bundles are supplied ONLY through a Virgin cable. But those of us who previously received these services from NTL etc. and are still beyond the reach of the cable network, DO get Virgin Media through an ADSL link to a BT landline.

Virgin's Bundle 1 provides me with broadband and 'anytime' national calls for £12 per month. I use 18185 for mobile calls.

BT's line rental/unlimited weekend plan costs me £11.25 but I don't use for calls. Upgrading to BT's Anytime plan for an extra £4.95 seems hardly worth the bother just to avoid the odd few 0845 and 0870 numbers on weekdays.

Virgin,s ADSL service is called Virgin National formerly Virgin Net.

The bundle you are on is no longer available. Virgin National can now provide landlines £11 a month rental. Their anytime plan is £6 a month

Like their sister organisation their call connection charges, call packages, mobile, and ngn calls are expensive.
