It's a breeze to upgrade your ram, yaknow.
Flip a panel off the back, slot in extra ram... voila.
I did this with my laptop, took all of 1 minute to upgrade it
Don't be put off. You can get 256mb fairly cheap. I got mine off ebay (new) from a seller who had a zillion positive feedback and sold tons and tons of ram.0 -

I think you mean 256MBs? It used to be about £30 for 256k about 10 years ago though? Mad how prices have changed, as well as technology of course. My Cisco ICT teacher told me he paid something like £200 for 4KB of RAM on one of his very first PCs!!!The main thing is to keep the main thing the main thing:)0
