    1. I pay my LTSB card by online banking from my current account. I ring the LTSB automated balance/payments line after 3 days to see if the payment has landed - it hasn't! I ring again the next day, and the next, and the next. Finally, after 8 or 9 days, the payment lands - and the payment credit is backdated to day 3 (the day I first rang!!).

    Roll on same day transfers!!
    Yes I had something similar with Scottish Widows (another LTSB card). Clearing the 0% period, I ended up using four sums of money.

    Cash OTC at branch ---> instant (as expected)
    From Egg savings ---> 1 day (!)
    From Capital One* (bt) ---> 1 day (!)
    From cahoot savings ---> 2 days

    In the case of Egg, the '00000000' account I had to enter as '99999999' because Egg's system could not accept the former. The payment itself, although it only took '1 day' according the the statement and was to a different 'bank', took about a week to appear on that statement. ('next day' value after one week )

    *BTW C1's collection account sort code is 40 02 50 - the same branch as Egg/Egg savings... we might be on to something there!
    .....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam
