Thanks Tooti - thats my opinion and I think DH will go for it when he comes home. It will take them at least a week so sort out the collection which will take us to a few days before I collect my new car so no probs there! I'll just make sure we have enough in to last the gap that way theres no unnecessary trips to the shops! And DH will be reliant on me for transport for the first wee while as only I'm allowed on the insurance for a while so he will have to be nice to me!!!!

It was so nice to talk to my BF. We can go weeks without talking! She lives overseas so its expensive to phone but she's in UK just now so I called her!

Right off to see what I can get done before I go to bed. Gonna have wee fly then off to bedland for me, back hurts and am so tired. Its my own fault, I fell asleep on the sofa watching telly last night!

    Nitey night all xxxx

I'm in! Thanks Pigpen and Toots for all your hard work. I've got my normal Sunday enthusiasm for all the flying I'm going to do this week! I really am going to hoover tomorrow. I know I've been saying this for a few days now, but tomorrow is the day. I won't back out no matter how rubbish I might feel tomorrow.

I've decided to have one more week just doing one list, and then try to do two next week. I've been doing fairly well - the hoovering was the only thing I didn't do off the LR list this week so nearly got a star!

I've also done really well on my step count today - the last few weeks since I had that nasty virus have been rubbish, and even tho I'm much better I keep forgetting about doing walking - this week I've been trying to make myself remember and have met my target for about 5 days out of 7, and today I've done really great! It's only 2500 steps, but is much better than the less then 2000 per day I've done since June!

Glad it's the kitchen list, ours has suffered this week and really needs a good clean up tomorrow.

Bonsibabe, that sounds great about the car, hope your hubby agrees about giving it back to the finance company

Sexymouse, my auntie was the Shoreham air show today, working for Southern Water. She really enjoyed it, maybe you saw her!

Jenny we just had to get a new car too, I know what you mean about it being a worry but like you say hopefully it will be reliable so try to enjoy it if you can. Well done on all you have done this week

Hugs Jinky, hope you are ok xx

Welcome Tiredanddesperate – I have CHAOS too so you are in good (or bad?) company!

Triker, just ignore bitter old woman, she’s just jealous cos she wishes she was young, beautiful and industrious like you!

Oh, and some more good news - a lady in our congregation has just moved and asked my hubby if he would help her by getting rid of some junk the previous owners had left behind. He said he would and she mentioned that she is going to sell a freezer, tv and lawnmower they had left behind. My eyes lit up as we have been thinking about getting another freezer and she said we can have it in exchange for hubby taking her stuff to the dump! Yay! We are going to keep it in the hall, outside our front door. We can run an extension cable through the front door. Our freezer never has enough space for everything, it's too small so it will be great to have another one. I won't have to worry about buying bargins and also I can do some good cookups. I've got some meat that needs cooking up soon actually, can do a big sweet and sour pork and freeze it all!

ETA: Welcome back Madcatgirl, if you feel the enthsiasm waning again come and tell us and we will encourage you

Valli no need he knows!!! and no he is not still here:p - he was on the phone :rotfl:
Oh, how exciting! Do we need to buy hats? :D Did you tell him how you felt, or did he just know, or did he tell you that he liked you? I told my hubby how I felt about him first and he had no idea and had never thought about me in that way! It was dead embarrassing but worked out ok in the end! Sometimes they need the thought putting in their head!

probably adding what you may now but if she has computer access both sign up for skye my DD just spent the summer talking to her friend overseas over it on the laptop for nothing - I swear they have spoken more in the last 2 months than they do face to face
  • Hi all,

I'm in... my attempt a couple of weeks ago was thwarted by painting and furniture deliveries and all sorts - and then unexpected guests arriving for five days! All those together meant I got the flat *beautiful* clean but didn't leave any time for internet-ing.

I've just come back from a weekend away and blitzed the kitchen before I went so I may be onto a head start here. I've ironed five shirts and made more breakfast bars than I'll even know what to do with (went blackberry picking today). I have no plans for going out this week so I may yet have a successful week of flying :o)
