Yey bathroom finished and all the stuff from the hallway up in the loft so I can get the hall cleaned next plus finish the bedroom and then I'm done for the week. Not Level 3 in all rooms but have done what I wanted to do and house is looking so much better.

Jennybee - congratulations on your results

Orkney - I'm really good thank you. I love this time of year, start of a new term feeling has never left me despite being out of education for over 20 years. I always feel much more like making plans/resolutions now than in January. Sorry to hear about the pain in your bum!

Greenbee - I want to look into loft insulation, any links to threads please as 'environmentally friendly' versus effective/cheap?

    Afternoon all

Sorry to read about lodgercat Natty but you made superhuman efforts to help him, you should be proud of yourself. I know how much you will miss him.

Hope your last day goes well Boddy.

Lady L, I hope you feel a bit better soon.

I did all the bedrooms on the same day so that's Friday's star please Toots, should be a full week now.

I've made a batch of muffins and a fruit cake and dusted the living room and computer desk and vacuumed right through downstairs. My back must be improving because I didn't cry when I was putting my trousers on this morning ;)

Off to catch up with some more posts.
  • Hello ladies

I've been lurking for a while and reading posts, trying to get motivated in dealing with CHAOS! I am a terrible hoarder and need to get a grip on things and seeing that I have a fortnight's holiday (at home), thought this would be an ideal time to ask to join you and get the house sparkling...Don't know how to put a Christmas tree though, would someone do it for me? This is my first post!

I am not sure that I will be able to complete Thursday and Friday. Unfortunately we have only had hot water once since the plumber left yesterday. I am going to try the bits that I can but it is already getting annoying having to boil the kettle every time I need hot water.
