Good morning everyone  Thank you for all your best wishes for DD yesterday. Eventually she decided on Leeds College of Art :T She has plans to be an illustrator, which I think must be fate, as the current Children's Laureate is an illustrator and author, and started off at the same college :j We went out to see Harry Potter and for a meal to celebrate
DD didn't make her decison until we went out yesterday, so she has to ring the 6th form college at 9am, as she has an appointment there to register at 10:30
She agreed that she ought to let them know before that time, otherwise it looks very rude
Beautiful day here, so we'll have some more time tidying the garden. DD is keen to earn some more money, so I may get her as my "Little Helper" :T
Off to find my list, Penny (aka Farmer Smurf). x

I don't think I'm doing too badly this week - bearing in mind this is me we're talking about!
So far this morning I've:
WM x 2
Put washing on line then brought it back in when it started to rain!
So TD x 1
Put clean dishes away
Washed dishes
S & S kitchen
Stripped DD's bed
Anyone fancy a HHC 8.30 - 9?
I hope the rain stops as it's the last day for the playworkers to come to the fields behind us and there won't be a session if it's raining. The kids will be really disappointed - DD's made cards for them!NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

Hello everyone,
Chocolate cake in oven
DW on
Washing out
Washer on again
Have been missing in action this week as OH has a week off so been busy with the children,we went to Twycross zoo on Monday which was really nice.
Tuesday we went to Crystal Peaks to get uniform for DS2 he has grown so much, also got him new trainers and school shoes.
Wednesday I took the boys and a friend to Ponds Forge swimming then went to Toddlers.
Yesterday was spent at a college interview for DD2,didnt do as well as we hoped in her exams but luckinly can get on the course she wants just a year below(if that makes sense) then shopping for DS2 again only wedding clothes this time OHs youngest brother gets married on 18th September, then went to the Mill for 2 huge bags of wholemeal bread flour, then to OHs Yard to hand in paperwork and let LO go on the coaches (he is only 2 and loves coaches).
Today myself and the girls are off to Meadowhall wedding clothes shopping,I am totally dreading it....what on earth can I buy for a wedding for 2 girls who only ever wear black...jeans and band t-shirts...ripped and held together with safety pins...I only wear jeans so cant see me in a dress though I should.
I can see sparks flying before the day is out.
I havent read the thread at all since the weekend so hope evryone is ok and I havent missed anything important.
Well done to your DD ...Penelope Penguin.Feeding 6 Adults 1 Teen a 8 year old with hollow legs and a very fussy 5 year old. Also 3 cats and 3 fishies
